Mark Reed in Bullets & Daffodils

ABOUT cont.

As for me, I am fortunate enough to have contributed voice for film, TV, theatre and radio along with commercial ventures over the internet.

I perform live but have also written and recorded narrations on subjects ranging from the great WW1 poet Wilfred Owen to the remarkably talented but troubled Sylvia Plath and her marriage to Ted Hughes.

I've recently completed voicing a film about one of Britain's more celebrated living watercolourists as well as the remarkable story of the restoration of a historic 1960’s offshore powerboat and its racing successes of recent years.

Given my background, I have appeared numerous times on television and radio both in the UK and overseas as well as taking part in theatre Q&As relating to my late father.

My voice is often described by others as a deep RP that is warm but authoritative, dependable, trustworthy, authentic and valid. That's how I would like to think of my voice but if you listen to some examples of my work, you can be the judge of that.

I care about what I do and immerse myself in every project.  I relish the big challenges but I'm also delighted to provide a simple strapline. I also pride myself in turning work around quickly.

So whatever your needs, if you like what you hear then please do consider my tones and contact me. Thank you for your time.
